I just added Google Page Rank Checker on my blog, and it shows my PR is 5! Is it for real? I had no idea. ![]()

Sao Paulo traffic can be very bizarre when it wants. Today I was coming back from lunch, stop at the traffic light waiting for my turn to cross the street, when I see this very odd scene.
Imagine an Alfa Romeo stuck. The guy turns the keys two times, and the engine doesn’t work. Suddenly a Land Rover comes from behind, and gently touch it’s front bumpers on the rear bumpers of the Alfa Romeo, then accelerates. It keeps pushing the car for about 20m, and the engine starts working. Both run a few meters more and stop in a gas station, both drives come down, I expect a huge fight, then the Alfa Romeo driver comes, shakes the Land Rover driver’s hand, and say “thanks, that car is crap”.
Go figure. ![]()

That’s it my friends. A new web site on the blogsphere. “planetmask” is my secondary site, where I’m syndicating blogs from co-workers and close friends. There’s nothing special in the site, but the people in there, some way or another, have great influence in my work life, so what they say means a lot to me. They can also have something interesting to talk to you, so I just want to share their thoughts with my fellow blog readers. Have fun!
DISCLAIMER
planetmask is the personal “planet” of Mauricio Teixeira (netmask). All blogs listed there belong to people who directly or indirectly work with me, and some friends from the same company. None of our comments reflect the opinions of our employers or co-workers.

I have just finished “Final Destination 2“, and they did it again. Interesting script, and the accident scene right on the start of the move is, in my opinion, that big strike that makes you interest in the rest of the movie. Once again, nice time watching.
Ps.: If you think I have a death wish, or I’m some kind of freak, forget it. I’m just enjoying a good movie. Check my comments on the first one.

Which Programming Language are You?
That makes no sense to me, since I’ve never programmed in SmallTalk. Go figure… ![]()

Catchy title, eh?
No big deal. I’m writing to say that I’ve just finished watching “Final Destination“. This movie didn’t seem interesting at the beginning, that’s why I have not seen before, but I was in the mood to lay down on the bed and watch something interesting, and this movie looked like one good choice.
I won’t write a full review, because I’m not that kind of person. It’s enough for me if I say that the coolest scene on the film, in my opinion, is the one where death comes to get Clear. Yes, I know it is a big exaggeration, full of special effects and the standard Hollywood lies, but it’s cool in the sense that shows exactly what Alex keeps saying about death coming to get them. And it tries hard, very hard. It shows determination, either from Clear (to stay alive), Alex (to save Clear) and death itself (to get both).
Worth the time watching. Now I’m going to look for the sequences (2 and 3).

This page shows a parody on the military hand signals (the “go go go” signals). Very funny:
