- 3G.
- WiMax.
- TV Digital.

Muita coisa boa vem por aí! :)

Chameleon car

Nissan has developed a type of paint which can change colors depending on the level of electrical current applied to it. The idea is very cool, because you can use different colors depending on the event or the place you’re going to, or your mood.

Let’s think with a dark mind: what happens if the driver hits someone on the road while blue, than run a few kilometers and turn red? It would be hard to track the car (or maybe not, because of it’s unique design, but still hard). Some countries even have restrictions in which the owner’s documents are issued mentioning the color.

Well, looking with a scientific eye, it’s a very good idea. It can be applied to outdoors, walls, windows, and you can have a new paint on your home or business place in just a few seconds (and a big electricity bill by the end of the month). :)

Random ‘oil’ thought

Now that Brazil has discovered a large oil reserve, will USA try to invade us? They need to watch Elite Squad and think twice. :)

I’ve got an XBox 360

I was reviewing my posts, and found one I had to do a follow up. Once I said that I would go with PS3 if I could afford it. Well, I can, but when it came the time to buy, it was not worth it.

There is a big price difference between the PS3 with no accessories, and the XBox 360 with extras (controller, DVI, 1 game, remote control, etc). In the end, the XBox offered a better price/benefit rate, and I decided to go with it.

Also, the price of the games in Brazil is also huge, and it’s easier to find good titles for the XBox than the PS3. The amount of PS3 games selling in Brazil is lower than XBox, and even if I would go with legacy PS2 games, what good would be to have PS3 and run legacy? In any case, XBox also runs legacy games from the original XBox console.

So, now I have an XBox 360, with a few accessories and some nice games. The graphics look fantastic on my 32″ LCD TV, connected using the HDMI cable (1080i) Well, let’s be honest, that’s all Windows is good for: games. :)

Chuck Norris vs. Linus Torvalds

After a lot of Chuck Norris jokes showing how he’s “the greatest”, now someone made one page showing how Linus Torvalds would totally own Chuck. Read, and have fun. :)

G.R.A.W

Today I just finished playing Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Very good game. I like the game mode much better than Call of Duty. Not that CoD is lame (it’s still awesome), but they’re very different. CoD is more like “knife in the mouth, let’s go to war”, also called as “Rambo method”. On the other hand, GRAW is more like “think before you go”. There is tactics, team work, methods, hiding, sniping, just like modern wars are supposed to be. Next on list: GRAW 2.
